Staff

All our staff are from villages in the locality, i.e. Gwaun Cae Gurwen, Tairgwaith, Cwmgors, Brynaman, Rhosamman and Ystradgynlais. Throughout our work, AAT always endeavours to support local business and organisations in order to encourage inward investment.

Volunteers

We have a number of volunteers already working with Awel Aman Tawe as part of the steering group. We also provide opportunities to improve skills and gain new qualifications. Elin Paul started work at Awel Aman Tawe throught the Go Wales programme and then worked with AAT for nearly 2 years before moving to High Wycombe with her husband. We miss her enthusiasm and inspiration.

Our latest recruits from Go Wales are:

  • William Choueiri a mechanical engineering student from Swansea University. He looked at the technical aspects of wind farm installation.
  • Cathrine Ayres spent several weeks working with us on the RE-Think project and
  • Michael Szulik designed a much needed data base package for the Energy Efficiency team.
  • Lynsey Harries (pictured right) contributed to the development of the RE-Think project.

We are very grateful for their contribution and wish them all the best in future.

If you are interested in doing some voluntary work, please call us. We welcome your help.
